Looking for reliable information on that new prescription? Stumped on a car repair problem? Want to see a newspaper article from the New York Times? Hoping to search for family members in the 1880 census? Want to find a book similar to the one you just finished and loved?
All this information and much more is offered free to citizens of Kansas through the Kan-Ed network. You can access dozens of databases using your Internet connection at home or from the library.
Some of the most popular databases included in the package are: Chilton’s Auto Repair, Health & Wellness Resource Center, Alternative Health Module, ProQuest Nursing Journals, Heritage Quest, Worldbook Encyclopedia, Business & Company Resource Center, Custom Newspapers, Legal Trac, and Novelist. Many more specialized resources are also available.
Access to the databases is easy. Simply scroll down the left side of this page and click on “Online Resources” in the "Web Links" section. For any questions or problems, contact the Belleville Public Library at 527-5305.
