In The Broken Window by Jeffery Deaver, criminologist Lincoln Rhyme and his partner Amelia Sachs solve a strange murder mystery. There are twists in the story as the true murderer's identity is revealed. It was exciting, although the "high-tech" part was sometimes hard to follow.
