Free Download Audiobooks, eBooks, Music, & Video!

Best-selling and classic titles available anytime, anywhere

The Belleville Public Library has expanded its services with audiobooks, eBooks, music, and video, all available to download from the library’s website. Library account holders can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere, by clicking on the Sunflower eLibrary icon.  The library has joined a group of Kansas libraries to form the Sunflower eLibrary, which purchases digital items and makes them available to local library card holders online.

Users may browse the library’s collection, check out with a valid Belleville Public Library card, and download to PC, Mac, and many mobile devices. Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including iPod, Kindle, Nook, Sony Reader, and many others. Some audio titles can also be burned to CD to listen on-the-go. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees.

“We know that many people have eReaders, tablets, and smartphones, and they’ve been anxiously waiting for the chance to borrow digital items from the library,” says library director Leah Krotz.  “We’re so pleased to offer the chance for our patrons to download the popular items they want just by using their library card.”
